Golden Lion Tamarin
Elegant and worshipped for your beauty, you are the highly endangered golden lion tamarin. This tiny, golden-furred monkey is named because of its resemblance to a miniature lion, mane and all! Unlike lions, golden lion tamarins are very romantic and loyal to their mates. In fact, they have been known to stay faithful even after their partner's death. Sound like you?!

Capuchin
Although they look cute and harmless, don't let the capuchin fool you! This little monkey has an attitude to match its sharp teeth and can be extremely aggressive, especially if its territory is threatened. The most intelligent of the New World monkeys, the capuchin never walks on the ground, preferring to stay safe in the high tree canopy of the jungle. Not one to miss out on sleep, it has been accused of laziness because of a habit of daytime naps even after a good night's rest! Are you the capuchin's cousin? We think so!

Spider Monkey
Flexible, talkative, and social, the spider monkey lives in female-dominated social groups. This long-limbed and agile monkey is peaceful, with a sense of humor and a love of play. Although they prefer to swing through the trees as they search for sweet fruits, spider monkeys can drop to the ground and walk on two limbs whenever they want. The dominant female is the absolute law for the group, with young males splitting off to live in small bachelor bands when they reach maturity. Lady spider monkeys also make the rules when it comes to mating and can take their time selecting the most impressive and suitable partner.

Macaque
Also known as a snow monkey, this species is famous for its love of hot springs, and a quick search of YouTube will bring up many videos of macaques relaxing in steaming pools while the snow falls on their heads. Intelligent and unafraid of interacting with humans, macaques can cause chaos by congregating on rooftops and even sneaking into stores and shoplifting candy! Despite (or perhaps because of!) this mischievous behavior, macaques are venerated in the Buddhist religion, and troops often live in and around Buddhist shrines. Why do we think you are like a macaque? Because you are a fearless, fun-loving person who also has a deeply spiritual side. Are we right?

Baboon
Are you offended by this result?! Don't be! Consider that you (and everybody else) share 91 percent of your DNA with the smart and socially complex baboon family. This powerful species has smarts to match its muscles and a reputation for doing what it wants, when it wants. Males are the undisputed kings of the baboon world, and in the case of the colorful mandrill, they are not only stronger and larger than the female but have incredible multicolored skin markings--and are not afraid to show them off! Ever wondered where humans get their love of 'mooning' from? Look no further than our baboon cousins!

Great Ape
You're no monkey at all! You've evolved beyond tree-swinging and snacking on fruits, coming down to earth to walk on the ground and use your undisputed brain power to improve your social standing and ease of life. You know you have won the evolutionary race and are set to take over and dominate wherever and however you choose. So go get 'em!
