Cloud Watching
It sounds a little weird, but you need to release your worries, and cloud watching can help. Getting out of the hustle and bustle, and into nature, will help. When you're lying on your back, watching the clouds, you won't be able to focus on tiny details, so your mind will start to relax and help you unwind while still giving you something to focus on as a distraction from your worries. Plus, it's fun to find puppy dogs and Elvis floating through the sky.

Aromatherapy
If you don't have time for lengthy rituals (although you should make time!), you can do a one-stop shop and buy an essential oil diffuser. Or buy two--one for the office and one for home. You can then treat yourself to scents that battle stress or depression or even the common cold. This is one way to get in some self-care until you have time to really get into it. On that day, hit a real spa!

A Weekly Pampering Appointment at Home
Pick out a time, once a week, to have a two-to-three-hour self-care bath-and-nap appointment. You need some pampering. At the chosen time, take a bubble bath and then put on your softest night clothes and cuddle up for a good nap. Enjoy it.

A Laugh
Don't let the blues overtake you. Even if you're not sure you feel like it, take time out to put on a funny movie. Laughter really can get you back on the road to happiness.

To Treat Yourself
You need a boost to your self-worth. So start treating yourself like you're worthy! The next time you think you shouldn't drive through the coffee shop, say YES to yourself and do it. Or buy that expensive thing you've been wanting for months. You ARE worth it!

A Gourmet Meal
Expand your culinary horizons and get healthy at the same time with delectable foods prepared FOR you instead of BY you. Do it monthly and you'll always have something to look forward to!
