You're financially stable, in a stable job, with ample savings and good credit. Furthermore, you've been on your own for a while and know what goes into living on your own--everything from washing dishes every day to changing an air filter and covering unexpected costs. You're ready to own a home!

You either live at home with your parents or you're renting, but either way, you should rent. Don't focus on a mortgage just yet, as you aren't sure where your love life or career will take you. Setting down roots keeps you contained in a few miles. Focus on your relationship/love life, your career, and exploring first. Once you find a place you'd love to set down roots in, find out if there's a lot of work there and then plan a visit!
