Backslide Big Time!
Not only will you not keep your resolution, but you may be in danger of going the other way! If you want to keep your resolution, surf the net for ways to increase willpower or get motivated.

Not Keep Your Resolution
You might not fully indulge in whatever it is you're trying to change, but you won't keep your resolution either. It'll be toast before you've toasted on New Year's Eve. If you do want to keep a resolution, pick a change that excites you or that you feel strongly about so you can stay motivated throughout the year.

Make It to Mid-January
You'll try really hard to keep your resolution for the first few weeks, but then something will pop up and make you forget. So you'll decide to get back to it next time or next week, but you'll forget and time will move on. If you want to keep your resolution, make allowances for those breaks in advance so that you really will remember to get back to your goal!

Make It to March
You're excited about your resolution, or at least you feel strongly about it, but you often lose steam, and that puts your resolution in danger. If you want to make it past March, set milestones for April and June, or devise some other strategy in advance to keep you motivated when you start to run down!

Almost Keep It
You might make it to the end--maybe. What is likely to happen is that you'll almost reach the high bar you have set for yourself, but not quite. That's okay. You're likely to have more success in whatever area of your life your resolution is in than you did last year, and that's--in and of itself--quite an accomplishment! If you want to actually reach that high bar, preplan in increments or milestones that are achievable and give you a feeling of success for further motivation that will last the full year!

Keep Your Resolution!
That will make celebrating next New Year's Eve even more special!
