4. Bob's child is on the same soccer team as yours. How does your relationship with him develop over the season?
I like to keep things with the other parents very formal. So we sit next to one another and chat minimally about matters having to do with the game.
We become friendly. We talk a lot about our children and their activities and I find we have a lot of values in common.
By the second week of practice Bob and I are taking turns driving the kids there. We often 'cover' for each another if one of us has some quick errands to do.
