Not Homesick At All
You don't miss being back home at all. You don't miss the familiar roads, the old hangout spots, the people you once knew so well (old crew). You don't miss the feeling of only really having your bedroom to yourself. These days, you have more room, you've met new people, you have new hobbies. A new life, really. If something is truly making you sad, it isn't homesickness, but you could be missing someone in particular, or going through a rough time.

Selectively Homesick
You aren't homesick, per se. You just miss certain things. Maybe your new home is great, full of things to do, always a lively time. But maybe you miss the sushi place you just haven't been able to find a replacement for. Maybe you miss a specific city that you used to enjoy visiting and shopping in. Or the coffee shop you used to frequent every Sunday. Some things just can't be replaced.

Randomly Homesick
You aren't actually 100% homesick. You love where you live now, and you like how things are going. But sometimes you do get homesick, only because it's still a transition. You haven't been away from home too long, so it's still an adjustment period. Whenever you get homesick, it's more of a passing feeling, a sense of not fully belonging in your new home.

Totally Homesick
You miss home so, so much. 100% missing the hometown. Everything from the trees, to the people, to the familiar stores and roads. You miss feeling like you know how to get around from point A to point B. Getting in the car and driving without a GPS. You miss being able to call up an old friend and meeting for dinner somewhere. Hang in there. It takes time. And the best thing to do is consider this your chance to mold and shape your life into something you've only dreamed of until now.
