How old it is and what was happening in history or the world when it first sprouted
I'd be looking for variations in the rings to see what effects weather and disease had on the tree
Meditations and labyrinths and Zen
How supposedly if you put a record needle on a slice like that it plays music - what would that music sound like?
Probably about how many rings there were and the differences in thickness and if there was anything mathematically interesting in that
