The Broad
Infinity mirror rooms! When you look at it, or better yet stand in it, magical things happen. It looks like a starry sky. And it's an entire art collection, so you can also see things like works by Andy Warhol himself. It's the perfect artsy thing to do, and great for social media posts!

Grand Central Market
This is like Seattle's Pike Place Market, only LA style, with tacos and egg sandwiches. It's been around since 1917, and it's worth coming here for the food. If you're a foodie, this is heaven. Spices, produce, trendy eateries, and street vendors are everywhere you look.

OUE Skyspace LA
The skyline is stodgy at best, with sparse skyscrapers jutting out here and there. And it's dull. That combined with the hazy sky (smog will do it), it's no wonder there aren't many observation decks in LA. That being said, there's this one, 70 stories high, with a glass-encased slide.

LA Conservancy Walking Tours
These tours are super popular so plan in advance. The reason they're popular? You get a tour guide who tells you all about the old school LA architecture, and you get to walk around downtown and avoid that terrible traffic. It's a good way to burn calories, and learn something new at the same time.

Museum of Broken Relationships
That's right, you read that right. Museum of broken relationships. It's filled with items people have donated after painful breakups, and each one of those items has a little description ranging from a single sentence, to several paragraphs detailing the meaning. It's powerfully connecting, honestly human, and highly rated.
