They're not. Ever. Television rots the brain. 1 or 2 hours after homework is done. My kids can watch TV whenever they want. I find that the more freedom they have to watch, the less they care to. I try not to, but sometimes I have to force the kids to watch TV in order to get things done around the house. Thirty to forty-five minutes a day. I used to let them watch a couple of hours every day, but the experts say that more than five hours a week is really bad for them. I have no idea how much television they watch.
