the fancypants look
Invest in a fitted military jacket (bonus points if it's secondhand) and wear it with cargo pants with plenty of pockets. Complete the look with a studded belt and some smoky, black eyeliner and foundation.

undercover emo look
Just dress as you normally would. But sneakily signal to nearby emos that you are on their side by writing a positive message on your arm or your Chuck Taylor shoes with some kind of skin-safe ink! Rawr!

the classic look
Pair a white button-down shirt with a colorful tank top or vest on top. Underneath, wear a black or gray tutu. (Guys, you can wear skinny jeans under the tutu if you prefer. But, the tutu is mandatory! ).

bondage look
Invest in a real body belt complete with metallic studs. Put it over a fitted shirt. Any kind of bottoms you want (skirt, shorts, or pants). On the bottom, sport some black Chuck Taylor shoes. (Make sure you draw on them or they are invalid. ).

leather look
Corset on top of a button-down fitted shirt topped with a leather jacket even if the weather isn't chilly. Piercings of your choice. Choker with metallic accents like studs or a charm. (Bonus points if one of the charms is a Japanese character. ).

the basic uniform
Why shake things up? You are cool and casual so no need to look like you are killing yourself making an effort. Just get a band T-shirt (better yet, of a band that doesn't exist anymore) and pair it with a pair of black skinny jeans. Done and done.
