I get out the yellow pages, find a reputable company and call a plumber. Hopefully they'll show up soon. I call my next door neighbor on the phone and see if he picks up. When he does, I tell him my problem, ask him for advice, and let him decide whether to help or not. I run over and start banging on his door, explain the issue and ask him to come and take a look.
