Everyone can be a contributing member of society; everyone has a role in building our economy. There's plenty of jobs out there, but not everyone wants to do them or can. The unemployed masses should develop their skill set, so they don't get chewed up and spit out by life. Simple as that. Not everyone faces the same challenges or has the same advantages. Most people don't even recognize their own unique privileges, benefits, and talents compared to others. Not everyone can work. Those that can't shouldn't be excluded or forgotten.
