How North Carolina Are You?

You are so North Carolina. You love the beach, the mountains, outdoor activities, watching sports, and you've had your fair share of moonshine. When 'Carolina In My Mind' comes on the radio, you can't help but sing along with James Taylor. Whether your root for the Blue Devils or the Tar Heels, and whether you spend more time on the shore or the Appalachian Trail, you can claim True Blue North Carolinian status.

You're pretty stinkin' North Carolina, just shy of full-on True Blue Tar Heel. You can appreciate both the ocean and the mountains. You're not afraid to get outside and enjoy the beauty that nature has to offer. You can make your way to a summit, hold your own in the waves, make yourself at home in a sports bar, and you certainly know who Coach K is. We'll give you Tar Heel status.

You're a Tar Heel-in-Training. You don't bleed blue and you may not be going on any five-mile hikes in the near future, but you're down for the occasional bike ride or day trip to the beach. Maybe you'd rather stick to the road over the trail and perhaps you prefer legal liquor to moonshine, but you can hold your own in the Tar Heel State.

You're a Wannabe Tar Heel. You fit in just enough to be dangerous. You don't need to feel one with nature to feel alive. You may be up for a picnic or a road trip with the top down, but you're not itching for a backpacking trip or aiming to hit the Appalachian Trail anytime soon. You like sports, but you're not a fanatic.

You're not very North Carolina at all, but you can appreciate a few things that the state has to offer! You aren't quick to brace the elements when it comes to skiing North Carolina's slopes or camping outdoors. You prefer a hot beach and an ocean that stays warm, south Florida anyone? You prefer to get your exercise in the gym.

You are so not North Carolina. You don't know much about it and you're not itching to visit. We gave you 1% because you can probably find it on a map. You're not really outdoorsy and you don't go wild about sports. Is it really that important what a bunch of grown men do with a ball? The weather might be nice, but that doesn't mean you need to be out in it all the time. You'd rather be somewhere a little busier and more interesting, maybe New York City?
