Salt Lake City
This is the largest city in all of Utah, and it literally pops up out of nowhere. It's surprisingly small, but it's clean and interesting to say the least. And getting there is a trip: one lane right in the middle of the salt lakes, with nothing but miles and miles of salty, empty water all around. The city is all about theater, ski resorts, and religion.
Moab
Think hiking, biking, climbing, whitewater rafting, and exploring in a jeep, climbing all over rocks and strange terrain. There's river trips, a lot of rain, and even a dinosaur, prehistoric park.
St. George
It's like Florida, but without the hurricanes. There's crops, sunny weather, golfing, state parks, restaurants and moderate winters. There's also another bonus: it's 90 minutes from Las Vegas.
Park City
Another outdoorsy paradise full of biking and hiking trails, it's also known for art and film festivals, like the Sundance Film Festival. Movies have been filmed here for a reason: it's full of upscale hotels and other amenities. It's like Aspen, but cheaper.
