5. With regard to school shootings and other gun violence, what do you have to say about it?
Don't blame guns. Guns don't kill people; people kill people.
If you pass laws banning guns, then only the criminals will have them. And that's not good.
We need strict laws and common-sense reforms to keep guns away from people who shouldn't have them.
I think that gun control should be on a state-by-state basis and, with the exception of a ban on assault weapons, not necessarily regulated by the national government.
