I might kid around with him and drop a hint or two in a funny way that lets him know that he should maybe make a change
I show her how life could be better by telling her about better alternatives to her choices
I am straightforward and I lay it out like it is and tell him that there are better ways of doing things
I distract her with alternatives and keep her busy doing better things
