Bad Luck Comes In Threes
When a celebrity dies, you are on the look out for the welfare of two more. This however is simply not the case. A lost shoe might be forgotten one day, but seen as the third in a series of bad breaks the next. The truth is that bad things happen and not always in threes so the next time you have a classic case of bad luck, try to change it instead of waiting for two more things to go wrong. The Thanksgiving Wishbone Wish
You believe in the time-honored tradition of the Thanksgiving Wishbone Wish which is the belief that if two people pull on the dried bone that the person who breaks off the larger portion will then be granted a wish of their choice. This is simply nonsense. The tradition of turkey bone tug-of-war goes back a long way. Legend has it that first-century Romans used to fight over dried wishbones, which they believed were good luck, and would accidentally break them, ushering in the idea that whoever has the largest bit of bone gets their wish. There were many things that the Romans believed that have been proven as false so it's time to let this superstition go as well.

Black Cat Crossing Your Path
As companion animals for humans for thousands of years, cats play all sorts of mythological roles. In ancient Egypt, cats were revered; today, Americans collectively keep more than 81 million cats as pets. So why keep a black cat out of your path? Most likely, this superstition arises from old beliefs in witches and their animal familiars, which were often said to take the form of domestic animals like cats. The superstition that you should just get over is the notion that a black cat crossing your path is a premonition for bad luck to come to you. How did we do? Let us know in the comments section below.
