How “Maine” Are You?

Lighthouses, piers, beaches, mountains, maple syrup... as far as you are concerned, Maine can keep it all. If you are hitting the beach, it needs to be 90+ degrees outside with a high chance of skin cancer. If you are hitting a slope, you still want cellular service when you get off the mountain (Maine is infamous for poor cell reception!). You'll take Florida or California over Maine any day.

For the most part, you couldn't care less about piers, lighthouses, cool (temp-wise) beaches, and endless mountains. However, there is a certain romantic quality about Maine that makes you feel at home - but only for a moment. Then it is back to the grind!

While you could "take it or leave it" you are often looking for some "Maine-quality" life outside of the Pine Tree State. Whether it is in pure maple syrup, a beach that doesn't scorch you, or a cabin in the middle of a snowy moutain range - you just want to relax MAINE style.

You take the state nicknamed "Vacationland" to a whole new level. You understand the charm of Maine and have enveloped it into your personality and everyday rituals (routines). You love deeply and know how to keep things "chill." While you certainly enjoy some of the "big city" qualities of life, you'll take isolation and peacefulness over it any day.

You live, work, think, sleep, and breathe the Maine mentality. Love as deeply as you can, second guess everything (think: Stephen King), find beauty all around, and keep things low-key. You are exceptional when it comes to being all that MAINE can be!
