I congratulate her and add a daily study session to her schedule to help her remember her lines. I invite the family, friends, old teachers, and a few out-of-town guests to watch the play. I can't wait for opening night! I become the stereotypical 'stage mother,' sitting in the audience through rehearsals, bringing the kids snacks during breaks, and getting involved in all of the backstage drama.
