I point to a list of chores on the chore board and tell her to pick one.
I get out a blanket and make a few finger foods for an impromptu indoor picnic! Housework can wait!
I hand her my tablet. That should buy me a couple of hours to get things done.
I tell her to go outside and explore the neighborhood.
