Achilles
In Greek mythology, Achilles was a Greek hero of the Trojan War and the central character and greatest warrior of Homer's 'The Iliad.' His mother was the immortal nymph Thetis, and his father--the mortal Peleus--was the king of the Myrmidons.

Aeneas
Aeneas was a Trojan hero in Greek mythology, son of the prince Anchises and the goddess Aphrodite. He is more extensively mentioned in Roman mythology and is seen as an ancestor of Remus and Romulus, founders of Rome. In 'The Iliad,' Aeneas was the leader of the Trojan Dardanians and the main lieutenant of Hector.

Orpheus
Orpheus was a musician, poet, and prophet in Greek mythology. His parents were the king of Thrace Oeagrus and the muse Calliope. He was considered the best musician and poet of all, and he perfected the lyre. It was the god Apollo who taught Orpheus how to play the lyre when he was an adolescent. According to a source, his music had the ability to charm the animals and make the trees dance.

Hercules
Heracles (or Hercules) is best known as the strongest of all mortals and even stronger than many gods. He was the deciding factor in the triumphant victory of the Olympians over the giants. He was the last mortal son of Zeus and the only man born of a mortal woman to become a god upon his death.

Perseus
In Greek mythology, Perseus was the legendary founder of Mycenae and of the Perseid dynasty of Danaans, and he was one of the greatest Greek heroes and the slayer of monsters before the days of Heracles. Perseus beheaded the Gorgon Medusa and saved Andromeda from the sea monster Cetus. Perseus was the son of the mortal Danae and the god Zeus. He was also both the half-brother and the great-grandfather of Heracles.
