Put my head down and find a grab rail or vertical pole to hold onto. I'd like to just avoid any kind of interaction if possible.
Head toward a grab rail and politely inform the others that 'I prefer standing anyway' with a smile.
Exit the bus and wait for the next one. Way too crowded.
