Switch Out Your Oils
Olive oil will forever be one of the healthiest oils out there. If you're still using things like sunflower and canola oil, then it's time to make a switch. Avocado oil works too, that's healthy. But try to limit your coconut oil intake, which although healthy in moderation, has recently been linked to high saturated fats.

Measure, Measure, Measure
Eyeballing broccoli, eyeballing corn, eyeballing your veggie meat and your grains. . . Sure, you're eating healthy, but if you're consuming more calories than you should, because you're not using a measuring cup or spoon, then you're still going to gain weight. Try a digital scale too, for more accuracy and speed!

Always Overestimate
You're stuck in a bind: you want to eat at a specific restaurant, but they have no nutritional information listed anywhere. So, you track your calories for the day, but you list them below what you actually ate. This underestimation is causing you to go over your calories for the day! Always overestimate, to be safe.

Stop Restricting Yourself
Eating bananas, apples, mangos, avocados, whole grains and lean protein is nice. But doing it every single day, for every single meal, keeping yourself super healthy constantly. . . You either have to be a robot, or you're going to slip up with a really bad diet day where all bets are off, and you undo the progress of the last week. So, go ahead, eat the donut. Eat junk food every now and then, for sanity's sake!
