The government should not subsidize any particular form of energy over another or have any control over energy. We should rapidly be switching to cleaner, renewable energy sourced locally and away from nuclear and fossil power. The government should not interfere with the development of alternative energy sources and the Department of Energy should be abolished. The Department of Energy and subsidies are important and we should be drilling domestically and harvesting more coal. The Department of Energy is necessary but we should endorse or support alternatives to oil and coal. All of these have their points so it's too complicated to decide. ▶ Next Question ◀
