The Messy Way
You're kind of a messy person, at least with your thoughts, for sure. That means that you're more likely to write a chapter. . . and then get really sidetracked and write something else entirely. Maybe another chapter of a whole other book. Or just half a chapter, even. The best way to go about writing a book for you is to just embrace that and write as much as possible. Write anything you want. At the end, you can combine elements, passages, and even chapters. Just make sure to edit REALLY well.

The Planning Obsessed Way
You are a planner at heart. You're the one who writes up outlines for things, and organizes your duties and deadlines with lists. So use that to your advantage. Outline your story, write out your chapter titles and summaries, and objectives. Write character profiles to stay on track, and set a deadline schedule you can stick to. Once it's time to actually write the book, you'll have everything ready and clearly figured out.

The Organic Way
You are very much the type of person who will write the book, and only the book, at a time. Meaning, unlike messy writers, you don't get distracted by other projects. But that being said, you also don't plan anything. Whatever happens while you're writing, that's the plot turn you go with. You should embrace that and just write your book, however you want. No planning, no outlining, no character profiles. Once you're done, you'll have a pretty solid book that you can go back and edit.
