New Glarus
Alpine charm and flower-filled boxes make this America's little Switzerland. Founded by the Swiss in the 1800s, this town even looks Swiss with its architecture. There's even Swiss music playing in the background. It's your one-stop shop for cheese and maple syrup, or chocolate.

Chippewa Falls
This is an ideal spot for beer, cheese, fish fries, and grilled meats. It's known for its retro dining, saloons, historic downtown, and even dinner cruises. There's also a zoo, volleyball, bike trails, and ice fishing.

Princeton
Antique shopping, kitchen gadgets, clothes, and even speakers can all be found here. Finish off the excursion with some dining (bars, grills, and cafes), and watch the whooping cranes in the summer.

Elkhart Lake
If you want sandy beaches, tiki torches, brick promenades, and blue waters, then Elkhart Lake is for you. There are plenty of shops, art galleries, wine tastings, etc. And every shop is run by the proud owner himself/herself. They have dining, drinks, ice cream, and live music too!
