I try to look for common ground.
I can't help myself; I have to win!
I don't have to win, but if I feel strongly enough, I won't back down either.
I don't have to win, because I know I am right. They can talk until they are blue in the face; it really doesn't matter.
I just prefer not to waste time arguing, so I just go along with whatever...
