For this exercise, choose any paper with markings. Put dots on any set of marks, words, or letters. Then, connect the dots! The lines don't have to be straight. . . Zigzag or spiral to make a cool pattern.

Feeling like you always have to draw something specific can stifle your creativity. Start a doodle or a pattern or try to capture the essence of an object without a linear shape. You may be surprised with what you come up with!
