'Cinderella'
Cinderella teaches us that, in the ever after, kindness and patience outweigh popularity, wealth, and prestige. No matter what life threw at her, Cinderella didn't let herself become jaded and hard or mean-spirited. Neither did she value herself based on what she wore or had. We could all take a lesson from Cinderella!

'Sleeping Beauty'
Moral of the story? Good things come to those who wait. Oh, and napping is a bona fide beauty treatment that does wonders; don't forget to go over your party guest list at least twice; and beware of gluttonous mothers-in-law--especially if she's an ogre.

'Little Red Riding Hood'
Don't dally when you're in dangerous territory, and beware giving attention to smooth-talking strangers. Be careful whom you trust!

'Griselda'
It's not the original moral of the story, but the modern moral we can take from this one is that, no matter how nicely you treat a snake, it could still bite you. If you find yourself under the control of a viper, get away and don't look back! Some situations are not worth waiting out--even Griselda's.

'The Fairies'
Be careful of what you say and how you say it, lest snakes and toads fall from your mouth rather than pearls and rose petals. It's better to have love and joy in your heart to begin with, but if you don't have it, fake it 'til you make it!

'Bluebeard'
Trust your instincts, and don't be so afraid of following them that you remain in unwitting danger. The princess in this story was right to be nosy! She saved herself years of being married to a horrible person!
