Words of affirmation
You've gotta hear those three little words to really believe love is in the air. Your partner can go to great lengths to show their love in other ways, but nothing will get through to you quite like uttering I love you.

Quality time
Undivided attention is your favorite thing to receive from your partner. Nothing makes you feel more important or special than when they put down their phone, check out of social media, and immerse themselves in you and how your day went.

Receiving gifts
Many get this one wrong and think that having a love language of receiving gifts means they are more into material possessions than people and love. That's not the case at all. Rather, gifts just make you feel admired and adored more than words and touch, etc do.

Acts of service
This one hits home for a lot of folks who've been through the ringer in past relationships. You don't just want to hear your partner loves you. You want them to show it. They should clean up after themselves, never expecting you to do it. They should take care to make sure you aren't struggling, and if you are, they should figure out how they can help.

Physical touch
Physical touch is important in most relationships, but some people can't get by without it for even the shortest periods of time. You don't do well with long-distance relationships for this reason. You need gratification in the form of massage, and then some.

A mixture of languages
Not everyone is so black and white. While most of us fit into a pretty standard box of what is most important to us in a relationship regarding how we express and receive love, some, like yourself, need to dabble in a few of the love languages to feel complete. You might need gifts now and then, but that doesn't mean you can handle a lack of physical touch in the interim or I love you's every day.
