What Animal Would I Be?

Dragons are commonly depicted as large flying reptiles that breathe fire or shoot deadly poison from their nostrils. Stories about these majestic animals date to the dawn of human existence. While many people think of the dragon as malevolent beasts, intent on solitude and destruction, some cultures actually revere the dragon for being gentle and wise. They are known more for their courage and being protectors of those who cannot protect themselves.

The unicorn is both equal parts beauty, intelligence and power. This horse-like animal is well known for its magical ability to help injured or struggling humans. They are happiest when they are among their pack and frolicking through the woods.

The yeti or abominable snowman is an ape-like creature taller than an average human, that is said to inhabit the Himalayan and Siberian regions of East Asia. The yeti is shrouded in mystery and no one is sure of their true intentions. Many believe them to be large and muscular, yet docile creatures who want to live in solitude or small groups. These gentle creatures want to be part of nature and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

The sea serpent a giant sea creature with glowing eyes, a large body and scaly skin. This ocean loving marine mammal is known for its power and majesty. Many believe it patrols the ocean depths keeping away creatures that seek to harm people and animals alike. There is uncertainty if these creatures are friend or foe, but they do have a nasty habit of crushing ships and devouring humans; although there is a segment of supports who believe these deaths are accidental due to confusion.

The griffin is a legendary creature with the body, tail, and back legs of a lion; the head and wings of an eagle. Combining the king of the jungle and the king of the birds creates an animal that is both majestic and powerful. Since classical antiquity, Griffins were known for protecting humans and guarding their priceless possessions.

Kelpies are a shape-shifting animal usually residing around the waters of Scotland. Kelpies while generally seen in a horse form, can take on the appearance of any other animal. Kelpies have been known to keep kids away from dangerous bodies of water and warn women to be weary of handsome strangers. These kind gentle animals are the protectors of those who do not realize they need protection.
