It's a charming and beautiful town surrounded by rolling farmland and with views of forested ridges in the distance and Amish farms nearby. Zelienople
In case you're wondering, that's pronounced Zellie (or zilly) An (like and) Opal. Or you could just say Zellie. People do. It's named after the founder's daughter Zelie. But why should you live there? Lots of reasons! Imagine a main street out of story books. There's a cafe, a bakery with all of its best cookies and cakes in the window, barber poles, the whole lot. Baldinger's Candy has every kind you can imagine.There's a gazebo on a grassy treed lawn and it's all covered in lights during the holidays and bunting on the Fourth of July. The homes are mostly Victorian and Federal in style. It also includes a Harmony, where the Harmonists first lived before moving to Indiana. They were an esoteric, pacifist sect of Christianity. Their graves are unmarked and the cemetery has a massive stone door that rotates when you gently push it! Zellie isn't far from Pittsburgh but the mountains keep it a small town tucked away by itself. The best of both worlds!

New Hope
New Hope is located in PA's famous Buck's County. It's one of the most scenic and idyllic places in the U.S. Covered bridges, colonial homes, canals, gorgeous forests and countryside, and beautiful seasonal colors in any season are abundant in the area. New Hope itself is home to mule-pulled canal boats, excellent theatre, botanical gardens and preserves, wineries, art galleries, specialty shops and more. It's an all-inclusive and diverse town that welcomes everyone with warmth.

Jim Thorpe
Known as the Switzerland of America, this town rests under Mount Pisgah in the Endless Mountains in the Poconos of Northeastern Pennsylvania. It's decorated with colorful, architecturally interesting buildings and waterfalls abound in the surrounding mountains. It's romantic, fun, and absolutely breathtaking. With a range of amusements from paintball to the opera house, Jim Thorpe is the perfect place for those who love to play hard, relax in natural beauty, and enjoy the finer things in life!

Linesville
Where do you live when you want to be surrounded by a world as fun and quirky as you are? Linesville, PA! This is where ducks walk on fish, the old-fashioned beachside amusement park still exists, and an ancient and beautiful resorts still presides over the town. And there's more: hot air balloons, paddle wheel excursion boats, snow tubing, canine obstacle course park, archaeological society, a haunted hotel, and this list is already long! You'll never be bored in Linesville. It must be impossible!

Sewickley
So, it's almost a neighborhood of Pittsburgh these days, but Sewickley is still a small town all its own. This Victorian borough meanders down to the Ohio river amid maple trees and walkable neighborhoods. Many of its residents are intellectuals with more than a small number of them being college professors at Pittsburgh's prestigious universities or instructors at its private schools. The movie about a professor, Wonder Boys, was set in Sewickley. There are lots of shops and cafes in Sewickley and shopping locally is encouraged with events and markets. Get involved through clubs, volunteerism or just attending one of their many festivals!
