During his ruling years, he made an unprecedented military campaign through Asia and northeast Africa. Once thirty he had created one of the largest ancient world empires. He was undefeated in battle and is considered one of the world's most successful military commanders.
Victoria
Queen Victoria inherited the throne when she was just 18. She was known publicly as someone who identified with strict standards of personal morality. She had nine children who married into royal families across Europe and so she earned the nickname 'the grandmother of Europe'.
George III
King George III ruled for 59 years. He was king through a British victory in the Seven Years' War, led a successful resistance against Napoleonic France and presided over the loss of the American Revolution. He was a busy guy.
William The Conqueror
William the Conqueror was the first Norman King of England and ruled from 1066 until his death in 1087. He successfully built a large fleet and invaded England. His reign is also known for the castles that were built during that time.
