What Kind Of Boyfriend Am I?

You are ridiculously sweet, and almost unreal. Like the fact that you exist should basically be a PSA, because most women (and men for that matter) have no idea that men like you are even. . . a thing. You're nice, you listen, you're attentive, and you respect your partner. You love your partner. You'd never cheat in a million years. In fact, your partner is the apple of your eye. PAT YOURSELF ON THE BACK RIGHT NOW.

Okay, you deserve some major credit here. You may not be perfect, but hey, you know that, and you constantly try to rise above that. When your partner says you hurt them, or they have a big issue with something, you actually take the time to listen. And you are always taking that into consideration. You're always trying to improve, both for your partner, and for yourself. You want to be better. That's commendable!

You, sir, are a liar. And you know that better than anyone, despite what you tell yourself at night in order to fall asleep. You lie all the time, and get away with so much. And it's essentially led you to live this crazy double life, where you constantly put up a front, a show, and then backstab your partner by essentially becoming a different person when they're not around. For shame!

We hate to tell you this, but you. . . you're the phase boyfriend. This is the classic guy that a woman, or a man, dates when they're still figuring things out. You're not selected with a long-term, stable future in mind. You're selected because you anger your partner's family, or because you're different and exciting for some time, or because you're great in bed, but otherwise. . . not so much. The reasons vary, but the result is always the same: they eventually leave and you don't know why.
